Roles and responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting systems accordingly.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
- Prepare and submit tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualification
- Educational qualification: Must have done graduation in Commerce or related field.
- Experience: Ideal candidate must have 2 to 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
Required Skills
- Experience in preparing balance sheets and handling month-end close processes.
- Skilled in managing fixed assets, inter-company transactions, and cash reconciliations.
- Proficient in posting journal entries and recording transactions in ERP systems.
- Proven ability to coordinate audits and meet customer expectations.
- Experienced in updating reports for management reviews.
