Roles & responsibilities as Financial Analyst
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Work closely with Accounting and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) teams to support financial decision making.
- Perform data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and highlight key financial trends.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities across business units.
- Participate in financial audits and help ensure internal compliance and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Help in automating recurring financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide insights and support for ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
- Understand and apply Amazon’s financial systems and processes during the internship period.
- Engage in knowledge sharing sessions and hands-on projects to gain industry-relevant experience.
Skills Required
Primary Skills
- Must have good knowledge of Accounting.
- Must be good at handling Balance Sheet & matters related to Finance.
Optional Skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail with a good understanding of the finance and e-commerce industry
- Sound problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data formatting, etc.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualifications: Must have cleared IPCC, preferably on the first attempt.
- Other criteria: Must dedicate themselves for 12–18 months of Articleship period.
