Roles and responsibilities
- Handle basic and complex order processing, including tasks like Debook/Rebook, Clawback, and Amend & Extend orders, making sure everything is done correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure that all orders follow the company’s rules and policies, especially regarding revenue recognition and order processing.
- Quickly and effectively solve any problems or discrepancies with orders by working with the right people.
- Keep an eye on all Deal Desk and Order Management queues and send work to the right team or person based on specific rules.
- Manage simple requests, like getting signatures, making small document changes, updating customer information, and fixing system errors.
- Take part in special projects for Deal Desk and Order Management by testing scripts and giving feedback.
- Work closely with teams like sales, customer success, finance, and legal to set up standard and non-standard deal criteria and approval processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Candidate applying for this role, must have experience of 3 to 6 months in Enterprise SaaS or B2B (especially in Deal Desk, Order Management, or Finance).
Required skills
- Basic understanding of how to use Salesforce and familiar with Netsuite.
- Proficient in using gSuite (Google Workspace) or Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with basic rules for recognizing revenue.
- Experience with Salesforce.com CPQ is preferred but not necessary.
- High attention to detail to avoid mistakes in processing orders, invoicing, and delivery.
- Excellent communication and people skills to work with sales, legal, finance, and other teams.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities, especially during busy times, with flexibility under pressure.
