Pocket FM, one of the well-known audiobook and podcast company has vacancy for Content Writers. They are looking for someone who is good at content writing, especially at writing stories for Videos. This is a fully-remote opportunity for Freshers and experienced people.

Content writers are people who create high-quality, information rich contents such as blog posts, articles, social media posts, and so on. Their work is not limited to writing contents, they also evaluate contents and research on topics for writing new content around them.

As Content writer at Pocket FM, the main task of content writers or professional writers is to work closely with the team of video editors and write attention-grabbing scripts for 30-40 minute videos or 1-2 minute promotional videos. Someone who is good at story-telling will be a good fit for this role.

Roles and responsibilities

Write audience centric content targeting German audience by analyzing data and matching their preferences.
Work closely with the team of Video editors, study their requirements and write fulfilling their need.
Create scripts for 30-40 minutes long videos.
Write scripts for promotional ads of 1-2 minutes for Tic tok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube shorts.
Write engaging scripts for promoting the application and driving audience to install the mobile app.
Listen to the stories and identify the climax point. Write powerful hooks around the stories and drive more audience towards the Pocket FM.
Actively participate in analyzing the promotional videos to identify the audience’s preferences.
Improve the content regularly on the basis of audience retention, click-through rates and other details.
Analyze the A/B testing to find out the best ad-variations.

Required qualification

Education: Anyone who have completed their graduation are eligible for this position.
Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience in content writing and story writing.
Certification: Having a certification in social media is a plus.

Required skills

Good at writing hooks, stories and grabbing audience’s attention.
Motivated to improve continuously according to the preference of audience.
Good understanding of German audience behaviors and their cultural trends.
