IIT Gandhinagar has announced an exciting internship opportunity for students looking for research experience. This is a paid Internship for College Students by IIT Gandhi Nagar along with lucrative stipend and a chance to win Rupees 50000 prize money.
SRIP 2025 is a Summer Research Internship Program where students can work on research projects under the guidance of IITGN faculty members. This is a great opportunity for students who want to explore research, enhance their knowledge, and gain practical experience. Also, along with SRIP, there are many other programs, cultural activities and Bhalodia-Khetan Summer Research Excellent Award.
This is a full-time, in-person internship where selected candidates will work on-campus at IITGN. The internship will last for at least 8 weeks during the summer break. The last date to apply is March 1, 2025.

About the Internship
This internship is going to be held at IIT Gandhinagar in Gujarat. Students have to attend the program by coming at Gandhinagar. Hostel facility will be provided to the students who will be selected for this Internship.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work on research projects under the mentorship of IITGN faculty.
- Conduct research and experiments as per the assigned project.
- Analyze data, document findings, and contribute to the project’s progress.
- Make a final presentation and submit a report at the end of the internship.
Qualifications
- Education: Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a recognized institution in India.

Eligibility
- Experience: Prior research experience is not mandatory but will be a plus.
- Other selection criteria:
- Open to students from all fields of study.
- Students can choose projects based on their interests, even if it is outside their main subject of study.

- The internship will be Between May 5 to July 15, 2025.
Stipend
Selected interns will receive a stipend of Rs. 2000 per week for a maximum of 8 weeks. Additionally, exceptional interns will be considered for the Bhalodia-Khetan Summer Research Excellence Award, which grants Rs. 50,000 to select students for outstanding research contributions.
