Roles and responsibilities
- Develop new features for malware detection. (With high quality)
- Write, debug, and test complex software, including systems software and applications.
- Use C++ to build solutions to secure McAfee customers.
- Work on the Windows operating system to design and implement security features.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C++ coding and debugging.
- Familiarity with Windows user-mode programming.
- Familiarity with Windows user-mode internals is a plus.
- Experience with development processes like code review, testing, and source control.
- Knowledge of tools like Windbg, Coverity, and App Verifier is preferred.
- Experience with VC++, STL, and MFC is a plus.
- Malware analysis knowledge is an advantage but not necessary.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in C++ coding with a strong understanding of data structures.
