- Hands-on experience with tools like karat meters, weighing machines, and other tools used for gold testing.
- Capability to use simple software for calculating values and creating reports.
- Awareness of current gold rates and standard rules to ensure fair and accurate appraisals.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of how to test gold purity, measure its karat value, and calculate its worth.
- Ability to carefully examine gold items to confirm their authenticity, weight, and overall quality.
- Clear and effective communication skills to explain the appraisal process to customers in a simple way.
- Familiarity with market trends, gold prices, and rules related to gold buying and selling.
