Roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for prospective clients, consultants, and existing clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Develop a strong understanding of market trends, the competitive landscape, and the investment team’s expertise to enhance the client experience.
- Collaborate effectively with portfolio managers, sales professionals, client relationship managers, compliance teams, and other groups to streamline processes.
- Learn and clearly communicate the investment team’s philosophy, processes, product positioning, and insights on current market trends to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in creating metrics and tools to monitor key sales data such as RFP success rates, inflows, and other performance indicators.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, including technology initiatives to automate reporting processes and improve the quality of client materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a preference for fields such as Finance, Economics, Business, or Commerce.
- Highly motivated, diligent, and adaptable to dynamic, team-focused work environments.
Skills
- Proficient in analyzing complex data and developing actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Superior communication skills, both written and spoken, for clear and professional interactions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Capable of managing tight deadlines and working across various projects and personalities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with an aptitude for learning new tools.
- Familiarity with the investment management sector; knowledge of GSAM is an added benefit.
- Previous experience in content creation or writing is advantageous.
