Data Analyst at Cognizant
As a Data Analyst at Cognizant, your responsibility is to check and review clinical data to ensure it is accurate and complete. Your job includes finding and fixing data errors, following guidelines for data checks, and identifying any risks or issues. You will work with teams to improve data quality, prepare reports, and support study management. This role requires attention to detail, basic knowledge of clinical data processes, and good problem-solving skills.
Roles and responsibilities
- Check for data discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Review data as per IDRP guidelines (including SAE & TPD reconciliation, CDD/OCD/LEX checks, CFQT checks, STATS checks, and visual inspection).
- Understand and manage study protocols to give feedback on data consistency and completeness.
- Identify and report risks or issues in the data.
- Prepare and submit reports for HOS.
- Perform CPT DM/ST IDRP marking tasks.
- Handle LAC activities related to data management.
Qualification
Education: Any graduate or post graduate is eligible.
Eligibility
- Having a degree is required.
- Experience: No prior experience is required.
- Preferred Certification: A certification from SCDM (Society for Clinical Data Management) is preferred.
Skills
- Pay close attention to find and fix data errors.
- Check data accuracy using IDRP guidelines.
- Understand clinical study rules to review databases correctly.
- Spot and report risks or issues in the data.
- Use clinical data management tools for reviews.
- Think critically to solve data problems.
- Communicate well with teams about data quality.
- Prepare and submit reports on findings.
- Know CPT DM/ST IDRP processes for marking.
- Ability to handle local data-related tasks (LAC activities).
