The work of Process Developer is to streamline the process of accounting such as handling invoices, processing it by reviewing and resolving the discrepancies found in it. Candidate will be responsible for verifying key documents for various suppliers.
As process developer – accounts payable, the ideal candidate must exhibit exceptional foundation in understanding GST, interstate, intrastate and central tax components. Having knowledge of using SAP ERP software will be a plus.

Roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for handling invoice processing by reviewing, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely payment release.
- Explaining and applying fundamental Accounts Payable principles, including 3-way matching, purchase orders, non-PO invoices, and goods receipt notes.
- Possess a solid understanding of India-specific Accounts Payable procedures.
- Process India import invoices by verifying key documents such as the Bill of Entry and packing list before posting.
- Demonstrate expertise in Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), including knowledge of deduction percentages for various expense categories.
- Understand TDS applicability on service expenses paid in foreign currency.
- Have a foundational understanding of GST, including intrastate, interstate, state, and central tax components along with applicable rates.
- Address and resolve vendor inquiries received via email or ticketing systems within the agreed service level agreement (SLA).
- Verify invoice accuracy by checking essential details such as supplier information, purchase order, bank account details, invoice number, and date.
- Track and manage invoice exceptions, ensuring timely resolution based on an established exception tracker.
- Maintain detailed records of process-related exceptions for knowledge retention and process improvement.
- Independently execute transactional tasks to support compliance, planning, and operational execution.
- Follow up with requesters through calls, emails, or tickets to resolve invoice holds in accordance with AP guidelines.
- Adhere to internal compliance policies and guidelines set by management in day-to-day operations.
- Conduct routine internal audits to ensure all invoices and queries comply with established guidelines.

Education: Candidate must be graduated in Commerce.

- Should have relevant work experience in Accounts Payable or a similar field.
Preferred skills
- Having knowledge of Indian statutory requirements is a plus.
